League rugby Starts on Saturday 14th 2019 at 3:00 vs Longlevens 1st XV at Home Churchdown Lane Hucclecote

The 1st Team opened their account at Churchdown Lane with a 36-37 loss to Longlevens. After a slow start and trailing 5-20 we made a strong  comeback with tries from Alex McEwan, Pat Hanslow, Nathan Graves , Lewis Cameron, Pat Hanslow and Fred Foot. With Ollie Proverbs converting 2 unfortunately the match winning conversion floated past the right hand post. We achieved 2 bonus points a steady start with some good things to build on.

Just an example of what can be done at Hucclecote RFC. Our downstairs accommodation has a limit of 150 with access to outside lawn and patio areas, A marquee will fit that will seat up 200 :- we have kitchen Facilities suitable for self catering or can recommend caterers if required also we have a house DJ with other entertainment options available enquire to Piers Lawford our diary and booking organiser email club.bookings@hucclecoterfc.co.uk or phone or text 07387843701 to discuss availability and options

Main bar

Has a limit of 90 Persons, is linked to the lounge via sliding doors with a bar and toilet facilities a place for a Disco, Band or singer to perform

Lounge bar

Has a limit of 60 Persons, is linked to the lounge via sliding doors with a bar and toilet facililties

Upstairs Bar

This is our players bar we don’t really hire it out, it is used for after match when downstairs is booked out, It has a bar and toilet facilities with a 75″ TV

Special Occasions

We can provide facilities for literally anything (except 18ths sorry)

 

Senior 1st Team

First XV 2017-18

This year the 1stXV are playing in Gloucestershire premier League under the captaincy of Patrick Hanslow, we play on a Saturday afternoon at 3:00 till late October then 2:30 till the clocks go forward.

This year we are coached by Jack Adams ex Gloucester centre with training on Tuesday and Thursday 6:45 – 8:00 all welcome just come to the clubhouse to meet the players on training nights.
